Finding the kever
- 1.Navigate to Ogrodowa 7. The ohel stands on the site of the old Jewish cemetery, in the town itself rather than outside it.
- 2.The cemetery around it no longer exists. It was levelled in 1956 and a shop built over the ground; the kever was located again in 1988 and the present ohel put up in 2012–13 after that building was demolished.
Reb Dovid of Lelov founded the Lelov dynasty. He is remembered for his ahavas Yisrael and was a disciple of Reb Elimelech of Lizhensk and the Chozeh of Lublin.

The ohel over the tzaddik's grave is normally locked; the key is held by a neighbor who opens it for visitors for a small fee. Large crowds of Hasidic pilgrims gather annually on the yahrzeit, 7 Shevat (early-mid January), when organized minyanim take place. No permanent daily minyan in Lelów.
