Who he was
Rov of Nitra and rosh yeshiva there from 1931; the yeshiva kept going after every other in occupied Europe had been closed. Father-in-law of Reb Chaim Michoel Dov Weissmandl. He was niftar on 9 February 1945 while in hiding, and is buried in the town he came from.
