Who he was
Son of Rabbi Yehuda Aharon, rav of Komarow; orphaned young and taken in by the Dubno Maggid, Rabbi Yaakov Kranz, who taught him and arranged his teachers, he served Brody as dayan and maggid for more than fifty years and was one of the leading poskim of his generation.
