Who he was
Born 6 Adar 5531 (1771) in Nadvorna to Rabbi Asher Anshel Wahrman; a talmid of Reb Moshe Leib of Sassov and of Reb Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, he married the daughter of Reb Tzvi Hirsch Kro of Buchach, was rav of Yazlovets by the age of twenty, and succeeded his father-in-law as rav of Buchach until his petirah.
