The Tevuos Shor of Zolkiew
Who he was
Son of Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Shor, Maggid of Lvov. He resigned the rabbinate in 1704, settled in Zolkiew (today Zhovkva) and lived there for the rest of his life — he is sometimes called the younger Tevuos Shor, and he is NOT the earlier Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Shor (c. 1550-1633), who also wrote a Tevu'ot Shor and is buried in Lviv, not here.
