- 1.The kever is in Łańcut, not in Ropczyce. The Ropshitzer Rov was niftar in 1827 on the road from Ropczyce to Lublin and was buried here; navigating to Ropczyce is the usual way people miss him.
- 2.The old cemetery is on Moniuszki Street. There are two ohels: the Ropshitzer Rov in the first, and Reb Elazar Shapiro of Łańcut in the second.
The Ropshitzer Rav was a leading Galician Rebbe, known for depth, warmth, and sharp insight. His kever is in Łańcut, Poland.
