Niftar at thirty-nine in the epidemic of 1746, having reached Eretz Yisroel only shortly before. The tomb-mark beside Rabbi Akiva's in upper Teverya is where people daven and is the long-standing tradition; be aware that scholars hold he was buried at Kfar Yasif, near Akko. We have not tried to settle it - both are named so nobody is told the matter is closed.

Who brought the chassidim to Eretz Yisroel

Talmid of the Maggid of Mezritch. He led a group of several hundred chassidim from Eastern Europe to Eretz Yisroel in 1777 and settled in Teverya, where he is buried.
