1.The old cemetery itself was destroyed and the matzeivos are gone — what you are coming for is the ohel, which came through, with the Association of Cadyks' Ohels having later placed a concrete sarcophagus and a new epitaph inside. Come expecting an ohel on bare ground, not a standing cemetery.
2.Go to the OLD cemetery on ul. Strobowska, not the other Jewish cemetery in town — Skierniewice has two, they are on opposite sides of town, and travellers regularly go to the wrong one.
3.Sources give the address as both Strobowska 32 and Strobowska 36, so confirm the gate and the exact kever locally when you arrive.

Rabbi Shimon Kalish of Skierniewice

Skierniewicer Rebbe — not Reb Shimon Sholom Kalish of Amshinov

Born in Warka in 1857, son of the tzaddik Reb Mordechai Menachem Mendel Kalish of Skierniewice, of the Vorka line; he founded the Skernievitz chassidus and led it from 1886 until his petirah on 28 September 1926. He is not Reb Shimon Sholom Kalish, the Amshinover Rebbe of Otwock (1882-1954, of the Mir Yeshiva's wartime escape), who is buried in Teveria.
