1.His kever is not pinpointed. He was killed and buried in this cemetery in 1648, but no source ties the ohel that survives here to him, so do not go expecting a marked grave.
2.The ESJF survey of the old cemetery records roughly 700 gravestones and one roofless ohel inside a small fence; that ohel is unattributed.
3.This is Rabbi Yechiel Michel ben Eliezer HaKohen, rav of Nemirov, killed in the massacre of 1648 and remembered with the martyrs of Nemirov on the twentieth of Sivan — he is not Rabbi Yechiel Michel, the Maggid of Zlotchov, who lived more than a century later and is buried in Yampil.

The Martyr of Nemirov, 1648

Rav of Nemirov, son of Eliezer of Zlatschov, found by a Ukrainian shoemaker and clubbed to death in the Jewish cemetery in June 1648; a seventeenth-century martyr, not Rabbi Yechiel Michel the Maggid of Zlotchov, who died in the 1780s and is buried in Yampil.
